VOLUNTEERING

We are looking out for people young or old to come along and become a working volunteer looking after 142055. We have various roles available from general cleaning to guarding and driving the unit.

N.B - TO BECOME A WORKING VOLUNTEER ON THE CAMBRIAN HERITAGE RAILWAYS SITE, IT IS THEIR REQUIREMENT THAT YOU BECOME A PAID MEMBER OF CAMBRIAN HERITAGE RAILWAYS, THIS IS FOR LEGAL PURPOSES WHILE OPERATING ON THEIR SITE.

142055 back to Provincial Blue

We are now fundraising to repaint 142055 into British Railways Provincial Blue livery. Your support will allow us to continue on our project of restoring 142055, as well as hopefully bringing back memories to the visitors that will remember them from new!, any help you can give will allow you to come and photograph a class 142 in a heritage livery.

WHY NOT MAKE A DONATION TO SUPPORT 142055? 

We are looking for kind donations to help with the on going upkeep of our Group Pacer Unit 142055. All funds raised will go towards the general upkeep of the unit such as cleaning materials, any servicing parts required, enable to carry out any repairs that may need addressing, also will help towards the eventual repainting of the unit to Provincial Blue. All donations will be greatly received no matter how small or large, so please do pledge what you can to keep 142055 in a good operational condition.
